Dog Park Cleanup

It has been a while since we last had a clean-up and the time has come to give the park the care it needs and wants.  In the hopes that maybe the weather holds out, we’re scheduling a park cleaning this Tuesday the 18th at 8pm.  If you have time and energy to do so after a long day at work, come on out to help us get the park back in order.  We won’t be out there too long.
If you aren’t able to make it out but still want to participate, we will be having another clean-up on Saturday, July 29th at 10am.  This way, each time we go to clean up, it will be progressively less work.
Going forward, we will be having a scheduled park clean-up every Third Tuesday and every Last Saturday of every month.  If you haven’t made it out to a clean-up before or haven’t made it out in a long time, here’s your chance to give back to the park that has always been there for you.
We have all the tools and we have all the materials.  We just need the hands.  Your hands.  Come on out to help us get the park in order.
As always, thank you for all of your help and your support.

The South Philadelphia Association of Dog Owners (SPADO) is a non profit organization dedicated to the maintenance and growth of the dog park at Columbus square. We are a group devoted to creating a safe and healthy environment for dogs and owners to exercise, fraternize, and build community through civic engagement.

The park can be found at the corner of 12th and Reed streets.
